Marylebone
W1

Paying homage to the traditional Edwardian building, the interior architecture of this mansion block apartment was opened up to enhance light and space, seduced back to its original era with wall panelling and classical details.

Acting as a second home, the apartment was faithfully reconfigured for urban living, entertaining and for family time. The Internal walls were removed and the spaces were reshuffled to create an open-plan living. The design shines through its adept use of lighting, mirrors and glazed doors to illuminate dark corners and reflect light.

A fusion of 21st century British charm and effortless Parisian chic created around a muted colour palette, provides a luxurious, elegant and tranquil haven perched above the bustling London street below.

Kind words

“Working with Katie was an absolute joy. Katie took a tired old apartment in Marylebone and transformed it into a space for modern living with a Parisienne feel. Katie has maximised natural light to create a spacious feel to a flat that previously felt closed and small. Her use of colours has created a contemporary look without in any way clashing with the period features of the property. Katie was incredibly creative in maximising use of space through both design and furnishing choices. We were so pleased with Katie’s work that we had no hesitation to use her again for our ski apartment where again her use of colours in keeping with the natural environment gave a fresh and modern twist to a classically Tyrolean design.”
