The spaces we inhabit shape how we feel, how we think and how we connect with ourselves and others. They can reflect who we are, hold our histories and reveal where we feel stuck or ready for change.

Exploring your relationship with home

Perhaps your home no longer feels like you, you and someone you live with want different things from it, or you find yourself wanting change but unsure where to begin.

Drawing on over twenty years as an interior designer and my training in Gestalt counselling, I bring curiosity and practical design expertise to exploring what matters to you. Together, we consider what you want to keep, what feels difficult and what you would like to make room for.

This is a design consultation informed by an understanding of the emotional meaning of home. Our conversations lead towards ideas and practical changes, at a pace and scale that feel right for you.

How we work together

We begin with a conversation about what brings you here and what you would like help with. You don’t need a clear brief or a tidy home, uncertainty is a welcome starting point.

During a consultation, online or in your home, we explore how you experience your surroundings: the spaces you use or avoid, the things that matter to you and where your home supports or frustrates everyday life.

Together, we develop ideas for change. This might mean rearranging a room, reconsidering colour and lighting, finding a place for meaningful belongings or making space for different needs.

A single consultation may give you enough direction to move forward. If you would like further design support, we can agree what would be useful.
