Taking inspiration from the original Victorian architecture and natural surroundings, solid timbers and heritage colours have infused personality and vibrancy to the design of this house and roof extension.
Reconfiguring the internal space to inject light and bring authenticity to the property was of the utmost importance to the client. With a team of exceptional contractors on-site and working alongside BVDS Architects to achieve planning permission the roof extension was elegantly realised.
The yellow tiles that envelop the feature wall of the ensuite shower are a nod to sunny days, while the main bathroom blends American shaker style with contemporary tadelakt walls and pocket doors to enhance the feeling of space. Functional simplicity was the focus, providing hidden storage in tight and tricky places and an effortless modern lifestyle.
